Introduce:

The TAV14 series of miniature voltage transformers is designed to accurately convert AC voltage signals into lower voltage signals suitable for microprocessor-based circuits, featuring a primary to secondary turn ratio close to 1:1. A limiting resistor is necessary in series with the primary winding to convert voltage into current. The secondary output current is then transformed into the desired voltage signal using a sampling resistor. This series is ideal for devices with limited internal space.
